Aliz Pocsuvalszki is ECON’s Network Coordinator. She is a Budapest-based community organizer, teacher, and trainer passionate about building collective power and creating spaces where everyone’s voice matters. With over a decade of experience supporting Roma communities, refugees, migrants, and grassroots organizations, Aliz loves bringing people together to learn, strategize, and make change.Before joining ECON, she led programs at the National Democratic Institute, helping to strengthen coalitions and build networks like Hungary’s national Roma Women’s Network.
She’s also co-led education-focused advocacy efforts and coordinated engaging trainings with the Civil College Foundation, where she continues to share her expertise as a trainer in group dynamics. Aliz’s deep commitment to inclusive, values driven leadership was further shaped by her time as a McCain Next Generation Leader Fellow, where she connected with changemakers worldwide to advance democracy, human rights, and resilient communities.
She’s skilled at coordinating vibrant networks, designing meaningful events, and nurturing connections that turn ideas into action. Aliz is a firm believer in the power of collective leadership and is committed to support ECON’s mission of bringing people and movements together across Europe. When she’s not organizing, you can find her exploring Budapest’s cultural scene or watching movies at home.
