Céline, ECON’s new Organizing Coordinator, is a Paris-born activist with a Master’s in Political Science from La Sorbonne. She ignited her path in 2008 amidst Israel’s bombardment of Gaza. Joining a new wave of activists, she dedicated herself to social movements, particularly the rise of the Boycott Divestment & Sanctions (BDS) movement advocating for Palestinians’ rights and freedom.
In 2012, she immersed herself in Egypt’s revolutionary landscape, co-founding BDS Egypt in 2015. Despite repression, she united diverse groups, empowering youth to lead a powerful movement. Since 2019, Céline has taught Public Narrative and Community Organizing at Harvard Kennedy School. Her personal journey, marked by her husband’s imprisonment, fueled a global campaign that secured his release and that of many others.
A seasoned facilitator, she has coached hundreds of leaders across continents. From Union activists to climate change champions, her work spans diverse communities and organizations.
