Victor is a youth worker, trainer, youth policy expert and a community organizer. For the last 10 years he has been connecting to the local communities’ reality and challenges.
Since high school he was a volunteer, and then, during college he became a member of a project team, the volunteers’ coordinator, a project manager and then founder and president of a non-governmental organization – the Active Development Association ADA, an organization active in the field of youth and participatory democracy. Since then, he has coordinated more than 60 projects, funded through Youth in Action, Erasmus+, Active Citizens Fund or other local or national funds, totaling a budget of more than 1.5 M €.
He is also a youth and non-formal education trainer, a coach, a mentor, and a community organizer, involved in supporting youth initiatives (especially those from vulnerable groups) as well as non-governmental organizations. He has years of experience in successfully developing youth policies and youth strategies that address the specific needs of vulnerable groups.
He was a trainer or facilitator in over 100 national and international projects on various topics, such as European citizenship, youth policies and participation, human rights advocacy, volunteering, social inclusion of disadvantaged groups etc. Since 2018, he has been coordinating the European Youth Village program, which became one of the biggest rural youth movements in Europe.
As ECON board members he aims to develop a new strategic approach to youth organizing and build a new generation of community organizers across Europe and support initiative groups of young people.
